iZ Commands Made Easy

A simple run down of the basic iZ commands

iZ commands are easy to learn. The toy is recommended for kids ages five and up, so the iZ commands aren’t too difficult. The iZ’s belly button is central to the iZ commands. The ears and the flicker also play a part in iZ commands.

Momma Patty’s tips on using the iZ commands…

iZ commands are easy to learn and they are all lined out in the operating instructions that come with an iZ toy. Here are some simple tips on using the belly button, ear and flicker iZ commands.

Belly button controls

The belly button of the iZ is central to most of the iZ commands. It is set up like a clock with little dots marking the 12 o’clock, 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions.

The 12:00 dot and the 6:00 dot control the tempo making the music play at different speeds. Pressing the 12:00 position gives the iZ command to make the tempo faster and the 6:00 position slows it down.

The 3:00 position controls the volume. Pressing it once gives the iZ command for the lowest volume. Pressing it six times sets the volume at its loudest. Pressing it between one and six times will give you different volumes.

Pressing the 9:00 position gives the iZ commands to change modes. When the iZ wakes up it is automatically in play mode. If you press the 9:00 position once, it goes into DJ mode. Two presses puts it in WZIZ radio mode and three presses turns the iZ off.

Pressing the middle of the belly button gives the iZ commands to change beat tracks.

Fun Fact: Holding the iZ’s belly for three seconds stops the music so you can create a new music mix. Holding the 3:00 button for three seconds saves the music mix you created so you can access it again using the 9:00 position to go into play mode.

Ear controls

Moving the iZ’s right ear gives iZ commands to change rhythm tracks. The left ear controls the lead tracks.

Flicker controls

The flicker controls don’t really give iZ commands. Rather, flicking the flicker adds special sound effects to the music that is playing.
