iZ

What is an iZ??

Have you heard about the new iZ toy? It is an electronic toy that interacts with music. Kids of all ages just love the new iZ toy, and even adults find it to be the life of a party.

The iZ is kind of an alien-looking creature. It comes in three metallic-like colors -- red, green and blue. The iZ has a clear, horn-looking nose with multi-colored lights that flash to the beat of the music.

The iZ has two horn-like ears and it has a flicker on top of its head. iZ stands on three legs and it is balanced so that you can pose it and make it stand in different positions.

What are really neat about the iZ is its big, buggy eyes that bounce to the beat. The iZ also makes some quirky little comments, seemingly out of the blue at times. These features give the iZ a lot of character.

The iZ is recommended for children ages 5 and over, so you shouldn’t just turn a little one loose with the iZ; however, small children, even toddlers and babies, love to watch the iZ. The combination of the lights, the music and the iZ’s eye movement is just fascinating to them.

The iZ uses four AA batteries that are easily installed in the back of the iZ using a Phillips screwdriver. A cord for attaching the iZ to a music source is included with the iZ. It works with any music source that has a headphone jack, including stereos, ipods, computers, and MP3 players. The iZ will play its own music when it is not connected to a music source.

Fun Fact: MP3 stands for “Motion Pictures Experts Group Layer-3”. It was originally intended to be used for audio soundtracks for digital films, but it has since evolved and has proven useful in compressing all kinds of audio files.

The iZ has a belly button that controls its functions giving various commands to change the tempo and volume of the music and to switch between its three modes which include the play mode, the DJ mode and the WZIZ radio mode. The belly button controls also enable you to change beat tracks.

Other controls on the iZ include the ear controls for changing rhythm and lead tracks. The flicker on the iZ’s head adds sound effects to the music.

The iZ toy was released in the fall of 2005 and is sure to be one of the biggest hits for the holiday season.
